Reno Omokri: “Anyone Who Goes On Strike Over The Subsidy Removal Issue Is An Enemy Of Nigeria.”

Former media advisor to President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has urged the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) to reevaluate its stance following the union’s declaration of an indefinite strike over the elimination of gasoline subsidies. Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu declared during his inaugural speech that the Federal Government would no longer pay marketers for fuel subsidies.CONTINUE READING>>>>>

The NLC announced an indefinite strike action in response to the Federal Government’s decision, which would begin on Wednesday morning and last until the competent authorities return the price of fuel to its standard level. Reno Omokri responded to the news by saying that everyone who participates in the strike action is an enemy of Nigeria since the elimination of the subsidy is in the national interest.

Anyone should not strike in protest of the elimination of fuel subsidies. Anyone who even suggests a strike over this matter is opposed to Nigeria’s development. Nigeria’s infrastructure, educational system, and Human Development Index are all suffering because of fuel subsidies. It is foolish to subsidize consumption in a developing country.   1. That indeed is true and l support your line of thought. This Nigeria labour union are bunch of saboteurs and gang up with the elites that didn’t meant well for this nation. There are much to say but many more are inside the stomach.
