General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defense Staff, has said that the president has ordered security personnel to prevent anyone from upsetting the calm in the country during the End Bad Government demonstration. He restated the military’s pledge to step in if the demonstration got out of hand. He brought attention to the concerning acts of those who are trying to stir up trouble by pushing for the flying of foreign flags in Nigeria. He said in a report by Daily Trust, ‘The President has instructed us not to allow anybody to disrupt the peace in Nigeria.
