Police Issue Tough Warnings to Politicians About Violence ahead of Tribunal Announcement

Prior to Wednesday’s Presidential Election Tribunal Court decision, the Nigeria Police Force has issued certain directives to Nigerian politicians and other individuals regarding keeping peace and order.

According to them, they noted the Nigeria Police Force has said that policemen across the country are fully prepared to maintain law and order Ahead of the Wednesday’s judgment to be delivered by the Presidential Election Petition Court.

In a statement on Tuesday by Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Muyiwa Adejobi, he made it clear that the police has warned politicians and mischief makers against misinformation and unguided utterances capable of inciting violence.

The police also said that deployment across the length and breadth of Nigeria have been strengthened to maintain law and order in the country.

Adejobi stated that the Police designated their commitment to ensuring the safety of lives and property before, during, and after the judgment

He added that the Nigerian Police Force has diligently emplaced all necessary deployments and security measures during this critical period as officers and men are fully prepared to maintain order and enforce laws while respecting the rights and freedoms of all citizens.

we should recall that the President Election Tribunal Court has finally revealed that they will be giving Judgement as regards the petitions of the Opposition Parties which includes People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP). CONTINUE READING>>>>>
