Major General V.T. Okoro, who is currently the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 2 Division in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, reportedly had a heartwarming reunion with his former Chief Sergeant Major, Warrant Officer (WO) Adegoke, who is now retired, according to news that was reported in the Punch Newspaper online this morning. As the nature of their relationship at the time was unclear, it was believed that their paths had first crossed many years earlier, when Okoro was still a young officer stationed at a military post in Jos, the capital of the Plateau State.

According to a tweet from a well-known Nigerian military blog, Adegoke, also known as DanArewa during his Army days, treated the young officer with kindness.
