Pastor Adeboye vehemently maintained the veracity of the miracle testimonials seen throughout the service in response to skeptics. “You know, I heard that someone said that we fake miracles here,” he exclaimed. How are you going to falsify the testimony we heard tonight?”
“A woman made up her mind, ‘God, what I want: 3 boys and 1 girl.’ Now, what method will Pastor Adeboye use to arrange that kind of miracle? Only God can do that. Exactly what she wanted was exactly what she got. I decree tonight, whether the mockers like it or not, you will get your miracle!”
Drawing from Hebrews 12:29, Pastor Adeboye expounded on the nature of God as a consuming fire. He proclaimed, “There’s something you need to know about fire and that is, whenever fire touches anything, it changes that thing to itself… Whatever fire has touched, it deals with it permanently. That is why the victory God is going to give to somebody tonight is going to be permanent!”
