While Nigerians await who would become the next senate president, the president-elect’s campaign spokesperson in the southeast, Dr Josef Onoh may have replied to the comment made by the top whip of the Nigerian senate, Orji Uzor Kalu regarding the post of the Senate president being his turn.

Josef Onoh who kicked against the former governor of Abia state claiming that since he was from the South East, it was his turn to become the next senate president, underlined that someone from the region should not seek for the job, leave alone to declare that it was his turn.
The APC campaign spokesman, according to Vanguard News, who condemned such a remark further pointed out that that such should not be a priority as the zone, being under significant security danger and economic suffocation should be the focus point.
As he put it…
“So it does not arise for persons from the southeast to be clamouring for the position of Senate President, let alone saying ‘it’s my turn’. While his zone is under heavy security threat and economic suffocation”
Remember that Orji Uzor Kalu had recently highlighted that it was his turn to become the Senate president, because he came from the south east area of the nation…
