When asked those the “Emi lo kan” statement shows any form of entitlement, he replied by saying it isn’t a sense of entitlement but a statement based on prevailing circumstances that shows among other aspirants I am the closest to the people.
Quoting some of his statements in an interview he had with Channels Television on Friday, he said: “I want to be Governor of Ondo State, I have tried three times and this is my fourth attempt at the end. I tried twice as a candidate, once as an aspirant and this is my fourth time, I think I am drawing inspiration from Former President Muhammadu Buhari who did it three times and didn’t succeed but succeeded at the fourth time so I am very hopeful that on this occasion it’s my time to shine”.
