With more than 6 million votes, Peter Obi finished third in the election, behind Peoples Democratic Party candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. The two candidates have stated that they are unhappy with the results of the election and have filed a lawsuit to challenge them.
Peter Obi, according to Mr. Tolu Ogunlesi, has no chance of winning 25% of the vote in 16 states, despite his repeated claims that the election was rigged. Instead, he has a better chance of doing so in 19 states than Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who finished in a distant second.
On Thursday night, Mr. Tolu Ogunlesi, a representative of President Muhammadu Buhari, tweeted the following: “What I need someone to explain to me, seriously, and simply, is how a candidate with ZERO chance of getting 25% of the vote in at least 16 States – 5 SW and 11 NW – is now going about shouting that election was stolen from him. Is this the biggest manifestation of delusion ever?
Even the guys who genuinely came second, and stood a much greater chance of hitting 25% in all the places where you stood no chance, even they must be confused and flabbergasted.
