Speaking further, he made it clear that in order for a candidate and political party to win the presidency, they must be able to unite democratic forces during an election from all around the nation.
Mr Danjuma Mohammed made this disclosure when he was being interviewed on Arise Television, while he was reacting to the rumour that Nasir El-Rufai is planning to leave APC, in order to contest for presidency.
He went on and made it known that if El-Rufai decides to leave APC, the same way Peter Obi left PDP, he (El-Rufai) will go into oblivion. He stated it clearly that it will be a wrong move for Mallam Nasir El-Rufai to leave APC now.
He said: “Obi never won election, but many won into House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, even Governor, all because of his popularity.”
In addition, he noted that former President Buhari was used repeatedly before 2015, noting that several individuals used Buhari’s popularity to become governors, and senators, yet Buhari was unable to win election, until he joined the right political party. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
