Nollywood actress, Hilda Dokubo, has emerged the new acting chairman of the Rivers State chapter of the Labour Party.
Awardnobs News gathered that Dokubo’s appointment as the new acting chairman in Rivers State was contained in a statement signed by the national chairman of the party, Julius Abure, on Thursday.

A development that led to the immediate dissolution of the executive council of the Rivers State branch of the party.
Abure noted in the statement that the state officials of the party were axed for gross anti-party activities and corruption in the management of the party’s funds.
