According to him;
“The truth of the matter is that the area 5 of the Port Harcourt Refinery is running. Port Harcourt Refinery has two parts, there is the old refinery and the new refinery. The old refinery is the one that has been brought back into operation. It’s running and we can confirm that it’s running. Reacting, Doyin Okupe said the presenters were hostile to the guest. He said they were fixated on hearsay instead of listening to the professional opinion of the guest.
Doyin Okupe stated that journalists must seek the truth and not bully their guest.
According to Doyin Okupe;
“I watched this program live. I was shocked to my bones with the hostile and predatory nature of the ARISE Interviewers. They were fixated on hearsay versus the professional opinion of the guest. It was pathetic. Journalists must seek the truth but must allow balanced views not bullying”.
