“His contract ended in July and we’re now talking to him and his lawyers,” Gusau was quoted SCORE.
“We hope to conclude very soon and a decision will be made based on the recommendations of the technical committee.”
Peseiro was appointed Super Eagles coach in May 2022.
The Super Eagles are scheduled to take on Sao Tome and Principe in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier next month.
