Photos of the elegant structure were shared on social media by the Special Assistant on Digital Communications to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad who gave the update about the commissioning of the project. Sharing the photos via his social media page, the Presidential aide wrote: “President @MBuhari has commissioned the newly built Presidential Wing of the State House Medical Centre today, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.”

Speaking shortly after the project commissioning, the Wife of the Nigerian President, Aisha Buhari expressed her happiness over the project as she revealed that the idea to build the facility came to her some years back.
