Apparently, Al Shabab is raising objections to Al Nassr’s Mukhtar Ali’s involvement in the game. The issue arose due to the difference between his birth date as listed in the match roster and the birth date indicated in his passport. They reckon that both of the given DOBs are different and thus have reached the concerned authorities for the same.

As of now, neither Al Nassr nor any relevant officials have responded to their protest. But coming back, it certainly sounds like a peculiar response to a humiliating loss. On the other other, they might also be on to something. An accusation as serious as this could surely put both Al Nassr and Ali in jeopardy.
