The West London Side finally secured their first victory by handily defeating Luton Town 3-0 at home after failing to win any of their first two games in the campaign. Malo Gusto made the starting eleven for the Blues in today’s game despite Reece James’s known absence because of his outstanding performance against Luton Town. The international was without a doubt one of Chelsea’s top performers today, contributing two assists to the team’s convincing victory over Luton Town.
Well, his outstanding performance in this game convinced me that he is the ideal substitute for Reece James, who is injured. The 20-year-old is an excellent full-back for the Blues both offensively and defensively and possesses the necessary qualities. If he keeps up his excellent work for the team, Chelsea might not notice Reece James’ absence, who is notoriously unreliable.
