According to news that was reported by the Thisday Newspaper online this morning, Mr Dele Momodu, a veteran journalist and the director of communications for the presidential campaigns of Atiku Abubakar and Ifeanyi Okowa on February 25th, informed Nyesom Wike, the minister of the FCT, that he is not the owner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and as a result, he can be disciplined if there is any wrongdoing. Nyesom Wike, during his interview with Channels Television correspondent in Abuja yesterday said that, nobody in the party can discipline him or suspend him, because he took permission from the Rivers state chairman of the party before he accepted the ministerial offer by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
While he was describing some of the views that were shared by Nyesom Wike in a recent interview as arrogant lies, Mr Dele Momodu, in a statement he released raised some silent questions that requires a response from the Minister.
He said that Nyesom Wike was economical with the truth, as to when he realised that the presidential ticket should go to the southern region.
He said, “After watching this interview last night, I immediately called Mr Seun Okinbaloye of the Channels TV.
