Ghanaian musician, King Promise has finally dropped his second studio album.
The album is dubbed, 5STAR and he has shared some insights into the album in a recent submission he made in an interview on the popular Ghanaian radio station, Hitz FM.
In his submission, he said;
“I initially planned to keep the #5STARAlbum to 11 tracks. We ended up having 15 tracks. #5STARAlbum took me two years to make.
The production of the #5STARAlbum began during the COVID-19 lockdown. I can’t really pick a favourite from the #5STARAlbum.”
In an earlier submission, he disclosed why he collaborated with Nigeria artist Patoranking on his hit song ‘Chop life’.
“When I was doing the song I did it alone but later when I was listening, it just came into my head that this song if I had Patoranking on it, it’ll be marvelous,” he revealed.
He continued “So I asked Killbeatz and he also agreed with me that it’ll be great so it was a very easy decision to make because Patoranking is one of my very good friends”.
Talking to Amansan Krakye in an exclusive interview on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM, King Promised disclosed that it was easy getting Patoranking to feature on his track because the Nigerian artist featured him on his last Album.
