On Friday, a Facebook user posted a picture of one of the fatalities, just known as Kardi, dozing off on the Otuoke Bridge.
The young lady may be seen in the picture lying on the bridge with what appears to be her remaining possessions.
Queen Favour, a Facebook user, posted the image along with the statement, “Kardi Blinkz dey suffer o. Currently, she is dozing off atop the Otuoke Bridge.
A farmer from Bayelsa recently expressed his anguish on social media after his chicken farm was destroyed by the state’s devastating flood.
Unquestionably, the nation is currently experiencing one of its worst flooding events in years. Several states in the nation have been devastated by severe flooding, which has rendered many people homeless, damaged farms, and rendered highways impassable.
Kogi, Anambra, Rivers, Benue, Yobe, Delta, Cross River, and Bayelsa are a some of the most severely impacted states.
The farmer, who is from Bayelsa state, used Twitter to share the condition of his poultry farm after floodwaters nearly killed all of his birds and drowned it.
Hundreds of hens were shown lying on the ground in the footage that the distressed farmer posted on the microblogging site.
