His remarks came amidst ongoing debates within religious circles over the relevance of tithing in modern-day Christianity.
“Tithe is actually an insult to God, it is not wrong. If anybody tells you tithe is wrong, the person is wrong,” Suleman stated
He further emphasized that tithing should not be a subject of constant discussion or debate within the church. “Tithe is not a subject to preach, it is a shame,” he said, underlining his reluctance to engage in or contribute to the controversy surrounding the practice.
Suleman also explained why he avoids preaching about tithing in his ministry, making it clear that he does not want to focus on the issue.
“That’s why you don’t hear me talk about tithing. I don’t preach about it, I don’t emphasize about it,” he added.
According to him, the matter has been overly debated, with those confused about the concept continuing to stir up unnecessary arguments.
“I leave those who are confused to be confused and make noise about it,” he concluded, reaffirming his stance that tithing, while significant, should not dominate Christian teachings.
