I’m glad Buhari changed his mind about saying the election was free and fair, as stated by Oseni.

Recall how President Muhammadu Buhari commended the election process as being free and fair after it concluded? Arise News’ Rufai Oseni expressed his satisfaction that Buhari had backtracked on his earlier assertion of a “free and fair election” and is now alleging irregularities, saying people who are unhappy with the outcome should seek legal remedy.

He specifically said:

“I am glad that President Buhari has withdrawn his initial claims that the election went off without a hitch and that there were no anomalies,”

Despite the fact that the 2023 presidential election has passed, some Nigerians still have doubts about the electoral system, and disgruntled candidates have sought to redress in court. Others disagree with the APC’s assertion that the election that resulted in Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s election as president was free, fair, and credible.
