Emmanuel Odigie made this statement during an interview with a journalist on Arise Television. During the interview, Emmanuel Odigie said, “I will give Monday Okpebholo N5M million if he can read a balance sheet on live television. If he can read a balance sheet live television in Benin, I will give him the N5 million to add to his campaign. We cannot allow mediocre in Edo State.”
Remember that despite being a member of the APC in Edo State, Emmanuel Odigie has constantly maintained that Monday Okpebholo is the least qualified person to run for the office of governor in Edo State.
