Akpabio praised Tinubu’s visionary leadership, which has turned Lagos into an economic powerhouse in West Africa. He noted that Tinubu’s legacy has made Lagos a model for other states to follow, showcasing his enduring impact on the state’s economic growth and development.
According to him, “As governor of Lagos State, he led the blue print that today has led to what we are seeing. Lagos is one of the most prosperous cities in the whole of Africa, with probably the largest economy of any city in West Africa. You look at his achievements in the area of IGR (internally generated revenue); he (Tinubu) met Lagos at N600 million, and by the time he put the policy in place today, Lagos was turning out almost N60 billion in a month as IGR.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
