After the occasion in Kano State on Friday, Senator Godswill Akpabio said that Senator Jibrin Barau is a peaceful man of the people and that the fact that many prominent national figures attended the wedding of Jibrin’s son spoke to that reality.
“You can see that even Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, and his supporters are here,” he remarked. This indicates that Nigeria would continue to exist as a single entity.
According to reports, Vice President Kashim Shettima attended the wedding fatiha and saw the union of Amir and Bilkisu Aliyu Sani Madaki, who is the daughter of Dep. Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Honorable Aliyu Sani Madaki.
