Legal expert Daniel Bwala has reacted to remarks made recently by Peter Obi, a former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, about Ukraine’s grain transfer to Nigeria. Accusing Obi of grandstanding, Bwala spoke with Daily Trust TV. He emphasized that despite Obi’s persistent criticism of the administration, he had never come up with any substitute policies. He claimed that Obi’s oppositional posture appears to be more about gaining attention than a sincere care for the general public.

Bwala questioned Obi’s commitment to the welfare of workers, suggesting that the conditions in companies where Obi employs people resemble modern-day slavery.
