In a social media post following the viral photo of Funke donning an outfit and a face mask in support of Aiyedatiwa, Betty referred to Funke as shameless.
The Nigerian Tribune reported that Funke reaffirmed her support for Aiyedatiwa in reaction to Betty’s criticism. Her appreciation for Aiyedatiwa’s provision of an appropriate funeral for her uncle Akeredolu also extended to her.
Funke claims, “It’s basically blackmail; we had a programme on Sunday and my photos were all over social media. Politics is all that matters, and I would like to think that the opposition took that photo and began using it as a form of blackmail. I believe that’s where Betty, the late governor’s wife, saw the image and became upset because I wasn’t in their group.
“Mummy (Betty), who is fighting and attacking me, may be doing it for personal gain as she does not support the current governor. All I know, though, is that Aiyedatiwa performed a decent job of burying my uncle. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
