Former President Buhari responds to Mohammed Adoki’s accusation that he was corrupt.

On May 29, 2023, Muhammadu Buhari announced his resignation as president of Nigeria. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress and a former governor of Lagos State, succeeded him.

According to a recent interview Mohammed Adoki gave, “I have been a victim of corruption allegations by the immediate past government,” according to Nigerian Tribune. The worst administration this nation has ever known, presided over by the worst president it has ever known and never will again. And was run by some political idiots.

Former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari responded to the accusation by saying, via his media advisor Garba Shehu, “Former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice Mohammed Adoke has been enjoying the spotlight, masquerading as an anti-corruption character in a skit for which he is ill-suited.”

“He neither has the track record nor the moral standing to accuse anyone of corruption, least of all the former President Muhammadu Buhari,” the former president Muhammadu Buhari continued.

He continued, “It is an eighth wonder that this character is a free man, walking away from the industrial-corruption their administration imposed on the over 200 million Nigerians. Because of how big it was, it is currently the focus of global attention.
