When struggling Fulham visited the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City kept their perfect record in the competition. Erling Braut Haaland scored a hat-trick for the Citizens, who also received goals from Nathan Ake and Julian Alvarez, as they hammered Fulham 5-1.
When Chelsea faced Nottingham Forest at their very own Stamford Bridge Stadium, the Premier League was back to normal. The Blues gave a lackluster showing in the game, losing to Nottingham Forest by a score of 1-0.
When Liverpool played Aston Villa at Anfield Stadium, they won for the third time in a row in the Premier League. As a result of goals from Mohamed Salah, Matty Cash (Own Goal), and Dominik Szoboszlai, the Reds easily defeated Unai Emery’s team 3-0.
