FG supports the presidential initiative and aims for 11,500 CNG-compatible vehicles.

Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser, to the President on Media and Publicity, disclosed this in a statement on Friday, noting that the Initiative aimed to achieve 11,500 CNG-enabled vehicles nationwide.

It also announced that the Initiative would provide 55,000 CNG conversion kits for existing PMS-dependent vehicles.

He added that the government would consider bolstering in-country manufacturing, local assembly and expansive job creation in line with the presidential directive.

“President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s focus on assembling CNG-enabled vehicles within the country will stimulate economic growth, create employment opportunities, and bolster the nation’s automotive manufacturing capabilities,” he stated.…… Continue Your Reading
