According to VANGUARD, the Federal Government approved the increase on electricity tariff from an initial N68 per kilowatt to N225 per kilowatt.
In a post titled “The Revised Electricity Tariff: What You Should Do”, the Federal Government said customers that are band B-E should report immediately whenever they are overcharged for electricity tokens. The report further stated that the Federal Government is still subsidizing their electricity at the old rates.
The statement says;
