FCT Appointments: Wike is spitting in our face, he went to bring former PDP chairman, Felix Obuah – According to Ekekhide

The convener of APC Stakeholders in the Federal Capital Territory, Abdulwahab Ekekhide, has voiced his displeasure with recent political appointments made in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). He charged that Minister Nyesom Wike was taking advantage of members of the APC who backed President Buhari in the previous election in order to benefit his political allies in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Ekekhide gave instances in an interview with Arise TV, such as Wike appointing Chidi Amadi, a former Rivers State PDP chairman, as his chief of staff. He also noted Felix Obuah’s appointment to the position of Coordinator of the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC). Obuah is another former chairman of the PDP in Obio-Akpor LGA, Rivers State.

In Ekekhide’s words: “Wike is spitting in our face, he went to bring former PDP chairman, Felix Obuah. His Chief of Staff was the former chairman of PDP in his LGA, Obio-Akpor.
