He pointed out that the audio clip has two viewpoints from the Labour Party. He claimed that the Labour Party still views the audio clip as acceptable even if they suggest it is a fabrication.
He cited the statement made by PDP candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar that Northerners are not required to vote for Igbo or Yorubas. According to Mr. Umar, Peter Obi has never been caught making any controversial remarks throughout any of his nationwide campaigns. He claimed that Peter Obi has consistently advocated for peace in the nation. Yet, he emphasised that the audio recording leak serves as a warning to the populace about the plans against them. They are prepared for future propaganda against their principal, he said, and they are.

”This is not new to us and we are just throwing it under the carpet. If not because of the religious coloration of the audio, it is nothing. What is there about the audio tape even though it is fake? We have seen Alhaji Atiku Abubakar saying the North should not vote for Igbo or Yoruba, Peter Obi has never said such in his campaign.
We have followed him in all the campaigns he has gone all over the country. And I have seen how he’s campaigning for peace and Unity for the country. For these people to come with this cheap blackmail is quite embarrassing. But we the Obidients are ready for them.”….. Continue Reading
