Caicedo’s Ecuador side came up against Enzo Fernandez’s Argentina in a World Cup qualifier that involved both of the most expensive players in Chelsea’s history.

The latter came out on top in this battle, with Messi scoring late in the day in a manner so often seen.

It was a strong performance from both Blues last night, with Caicedo seemingly being on a mission to win the ball back on his own.
