Manchester United had to move quick to provide left-back depth following the injuries to both Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, along with the loan departure of Alvaro Fernandez.
Reguilon arrives at the club a few years after he was heavily linked before choosing Premier League rivals Spurs as his destination.

The Spanish full-back hasn’t ever quite lived up to the hype he was credited with before his Premier League move.
He will more than likely be a secondary choice at Old Trafford once the usual left-backs return, with Diogo Dalot expected to be ahead in the pecking order.
He evidently isn’t a long term plan, given United wanted the option to terminate his deal in January if they wanted.

Manchester United announced the move on transfer deadline day, wth Reguilon pictured signing his deal.
Where does Reguilon fit in?
A left-back by trade, we still don’t see him starting even if he is the only one in the squad, Diogo Dalot should start.
However the player that Reguilon is, would be a brilliant option off the bench, a really attack minded full-back who wanted to cross balls.
This was his bread and butter before Spurs and we therefore see no reason that he can’t re-find his best form at Old Trafford under Erik ten Hag’s guidance.
With the option to send him back in January it is a fairly risk free deal, and provides United the extra cover needed. CONTINUE READING>>>>>
