Seun Okinbaloye questioned Buba Galadima in an interview with Channels TV’s Politics Today, “Wasn’t it that Kwankwaso was suspended because of anti-party activity? And that wasn’t the video of Kwankwaso’s meeting with Tinubu and having met with Atiku, who are all opposition clear evidence of anti-party activities?” Buba Galadima responded, “No, it wasn’t.”
After the election, the president actually made multiple attempts to speak with Rabiu Kwankwaso, but nothing happened until their agreement to meet in France, according to Buba Galadima. When Kwankwaso called the party’s NWC, he claimed,
“Everyone in that meeting (there were about 13 of us) spoke except for myself. The president wants to see me. What is your position?” All of them, excluding me, talked. I remained silent because I recognized what was happening rather than because I opposed it.
