EPL: Mikel Arteta concerns about the Arsenal star because of his strange movement

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has confirmed he is worried as Jurrien Timber goes off injured during his team’s Premier League opener against Nottingham Forest on Saturday. CONTINUE READING>>>>>

Timber featured as Arsenal defeated Nottingham Forest 2-1 in their first Premier League match of the season at Emirates.

Two goals from Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah gave the Gunners all three points against Steve Cooper’s men.

However, during the encounter, Timber, who made his Premier League debut for Arsenal, went down hurt after making a challenge.

Despite this, Timber remained on the pitch until half-time and he was unable to continue after sustaining an injury without any contact right after the second half started.

Arteta then brought on Takehiro Tomiyasu to replace the Netherlands defender.

After the match, Arteta admitted that he was unsure of whether Timber suffered a major injury or not.

Arteta said (as quoted by talkSPORT): “I need to speak with the doctors and understand what happened, but he had a really weird movement as soon as he came on the pitch.
