Recall that it was claimed that the regional group Ecowas in West Africa has commanded the activation of a reserve force for potential use against the junta that has seized control of Niger.
Fani Kayode, a former aviation minister, claimed on his microblogging site, Twitter, that the ECOWAS lacks even a combat-ready military. He claimed that Nigeria will be the ECOWAS’s main ally.
Fani Kayode claims that he explicitly stated in his statement that Nigeria will face serious problems if they take on this journey.
