Davido Response to Police Order Suspending Osun Local Government Elections

Following his post on Twitter, Davido Wrote; “we will use Amotekun”, the security operatives formed by the Osun State Government.

 

 

The singer, whose uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, leads the state, has consistently supported democratic processes in Osun. His reaction aligns with concerns from residents and stakeholders worried about the implications of the suspension on governance.

 

 

While the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC) assured the public of a credible election, opposition parties and civil society groups had raised concerns over the process.
