He added that despite no one thinking Akpabio would win the senate president seat, Akpabio approached him prior to the election and got his approval. Mr. Clark declared that he believed God had heard his prayer for Akpabio.

Additionally, he congratulated Yari, Godswill Akpabio’s opponent who received 46 votes to win the senate presidency. By hugging the candidate who had defeated him in the election, Senator Yari demonstrated good behavior, he noted.
