Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu, a well-known Nigerian politician, former governor of Lagos State, former senator who served the good people of Lagos West during the Third Republic, and the recently-elected president, reportedly reacted after Datti Baba-Ahmed, the vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, alleged that it will be the end of democracy if he (Bola Tinubu) should take over power from the current government.

Additionally, Bola Tinubu requested that Channels Television be penalized by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) for allegedly breaking the Nigerian Broadcasting code.
You might find it interesting to know that a few days ago, Datti Baba-Ahmed said in an exclusive interview with Channels Television that Bola Tinubu should not be sworn in as president because he did not receive 25% of the vote in the FCT and that the INEC certificate of return issued to him is a bad check.
Bola Tinubu taking over from President Muhammadu Buhari, according to Datti Baba-Ahmed, would be the end of democracy.
These observations led Bola Tinubu to conclude that Datti Baba-Ahmed’s statement not only promoted threat but also incited a call to insurrection against the government.
