A lot of tension is raised as women in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State partially disrobed on Friday in protest of the state’s gubernatorial election results.

In addition, they argued that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) should declare the Nasarawa gubernatorial election results void in the sake of peace.
Among other things, women protesters demanded that the gubernatorial election be canceled.
The protesters, who marched down Akwanga’s main streets without covers, also said that INEC had manipulated the state’s governorship election and that the declaration of the results had caused chaos.
