According to public affairs analyst Karl Bostic, President Bola Tinubu cautioned European Union (EU) chief Charles Michel that there will be major repercussions if anything happens to the president of Niger, who was overthrown and is being detained by a military coup in the nation. He discovered this while investigating rumours that the military junta had consented to a meeting with ECOWAS to discuss the nation’s political unrest.

According to Karl Bostic, who appeared on Arise News, a goodwill gesture is required for a peaceful outcome. He stated that it is critical for the junta to demonstrate that Bazoum is alive and well, as well as releasing his family as a goodwill gesture, before discussing a solution to the problem.

“I think the key to a peaceful resolution is a goodwill gesture,” Karl Bostic says. Right now, President Tinubu has notified EU Chief Charles Michel over the phone that if anything happens to deposed President Bazoum, there will be serious consequences.
