In response, Binance said that they had recently talked about how to work with Nigeria to fix concerns and that they had not heard any demands for a $10 billion fee.
According to Sahara Reporters, a Binance official made this disclosure on Friday, shortly after the BBC said Bayo Onanuga announced that Binance has been fined the sum of $10 billion.
The official said: “We recently discussed ways to resolve issues with Nigeria, but we did not hear any demand for $10 billion.”
Binance went on and made it known that their aim is to chart a good relationship with the Nigerian government and the people of Nigeria, noting that they want want to see their services restored in Nigeria very soon. They went on and made it known that they have no intention of paying fines for personnel or services.
Recall that it was reported earlier today that a presidential aide, Mr Bayo Onanuga, said that the Nigerian government fined Binance Nigeria the sum of $10 billion, for allegedly causing the depreciation of the country’s currency, Naira against the dollar. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
