
The woman who was arrested on March 26 for allegedly stabbing her friend, Glory Okon, to death in her apartment at Greenville Estate, Ajah area of Lagos, Annie Ofili, has reportedly revealed the reason she committed the act, claiming the deceased snatched her boyfriend ten years ago, according to news that was published by the Vanguard Newspaper online this morning.

He claimed that on March 26, at approximately 5.50 p.m., a resident of Greenville Estate called their station to report hearing screaming coming from Annie Ofili’s room. As a result, he and other tenants hurried to the room and forced the door open, only to find Annie sitting on Glory Okon, who had come to visit her.
“Ofili held Glory Okon’s throat and stabbed her on the neck and back with a kitchen knife,” Hundeyin claimed. “They rushed Okon to the hospital, where one of the on-duty doctors confirmed she had passed away.”
He added that after receiving the information, police arrived on the location, apprehended the suspect, and recovered the knife she had been using. The corpse was then sent to the Mainland General Hospital mortuary in Yaba for an autopsy and preservation.
