According to Onanuga, the naira is now strong in comparison to other currencies, including the US dollar.
According to Daily Post, the statement follows Bloomberg’s report that the naira is experiencing a unique period of stability, which analysts predict will continue.
The report stated that since foreign exchange controls were loosened in 2023, Nigeria’s battered currency has fallen 70% against the US dollar, including a sharp decline in value a year ago.
But Onanuga invited Obi to retweet the thrilling story and called the development good news.
