According to the report by Daily Post on Friday, Bashir el-Rufai, the son of former Kaduna State Governor, had recently taken to social media to predict that Tinubu might be voted out in 2027 due to “non-performance.”

In a statement, the Chairman of APFGG, Malam Ibrahim Musa Bichi described Bashir el-Rufai as “disrespectful and mannerless,” and suggested that his remarks echoed the sentiments of his father.

He said, “The boy is simply speaking the voice of his father.”

He said that Tinubu’s longstanding political structure and efforts to progress Nigeria should not be undermined by such criticism.

He added, “Those who understand politics know that Tinubu has built a political structure over the years that is helping him to move Nigeria forward in the right direction.

“And we don’t see reasons to fight an administration that is determined to make the country a better place,” Bichi continued.

The group said that they want Bashir and his likes to know that the real voters in the North will vote for Tinubu in 2027, because they are aware of the efforts that the President is making to solve the insecurity and economic challenges that the previous administrations caused.

The group also questioned the political popularity of the former Kaduna State Governor, and asked why El-Rufai did not contest the 2023 presidency instead of hiding under the former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi.

The group said, “If your father has the capacity and popularity, why hide under former Rivers State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi and not personally contest the highly coveted seat of President in 2023?”

The group also challenged el-Rufai to compete against Tinubu in the 2027 elections and see who the North will support.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
