One of the leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bashir Ahmad, has responded to Bello El-Rufai’s claim that Peter Obi is not the same as his father, Nasir El-Rufai, and Babatunde Raji Fashola. The claim was made by Bello El-Rufai during a recent interview with host Seun Okinbaloye. He mentioned in the interview that Lagos State is considerably superior to Anambra State, which was led by Peter Obi in 2007.
He proceeded to state that the the Labour Party, LP, candidate in the 2023 presidential election is not better than the current president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
However, Bashir Ahmad has now reacted to the statement that was made by Bello El-Rufai. In the post that he shared on his official X handle on Friday, he said everything Bello said about Peter Obi is accurate.
He wrote on his page;
