Former Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose predicted that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, will likely prevail in his legal battle with Bola Tinubu. But he said that he wouldn’t ever lose in court if he were Bola Tinubu, the former governor of Anambra.

If Fayose wins an election and is sued in court, he said, no one will be able to stop him because he would do all in his power to have the court decide against his opponent. In doing so, he asserted that Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, could never be denied what God had given him, even if Peter Obi were to prevail in their legal dispute.
He stated:
“It is possible that Obi wins the court case against Bola Tinubu, but if I was Tinubu, Obi won’t win. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu won that election fair and square and all of them participated in whatever odd or the other that you might claim and what I said the last time is that it is possible if these people go to court, they will win”…
