AIG Fayoade: He Attempted to Bribe Officers with $100,000; Claims to Be Adam Taggart

 

The arrest of internet fraudster Patrick Akpoguma, who tried to bribe police with $100,000 in order to avoid justice, has been explained by Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) Adegoke Fayoade.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Speaking in a video shared by TVC, Fayoade revealed that Akpoguma used various disguises to defraud his victims. Among his tactics was wearing a mask and posing as a man named Adam Taggart to carry out his schemes.

Fayoade explained: “This is the mask he wears to deceive people anytime he wants to get money from his unsuspecting victims, and he claims he is Adam Taggart. The fraudster attempted to buy my men with some amount of dollars. The total amount of dollars he presented to my men is 100 thousand dollars.”

 

The $100,000, equivalent to ₦174 million in Nigerian currency, was presented in 10 bundles of $100 bills. The money was confiscated and has been kept as evidence in the ongoing investigation.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
