Dr. Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, the former president of the NBA, explained on the Arise TV morning show why the election petition challenging Tinubu’s victory is necessary, particularly in light of recent DSS discussions about an interim administration and Lai Mohammed’s treasonous accusations against Obi and Datti.

He says that the petition should be resolved and disagrees with Lai Mohammed that what Obi is saying is treason.

However, if one looks deeper, the issue is that Tinubu is anticipated to be sworn in on May 29, 2023. In spite of the fact that everyone is confused, his theory of the seven days should be tested.

Agbakoba then encouraged the tribunal and the legal teams on both side to make every effort to forward the case and see if one could be reached before the swearing in, but as things stand right now, Tinubu is the president-elect, whether people like it or not, and he will be sworn in on May 29th. Dr. Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, revealed the reasons petitioners would be dissatisfied.

“In other to balance out justice, could we get the petition to be resolved before that date and if Obi losses, he goes home and knows he has lost, but why hang the thing?.
