In an effort to demonstrate accountability, the governor of Plateau state provided an accounting of the funds received by the state and how they were used.

They collected N2 billion, according to a popular video that Mutfwang posted on his verified Twitter account. According to him, the funding is split into a 52% grant and a 48% loan component.

He added that they were required to utilize N1 billion out of the N5 billion to purchase local rice.

However, the former Kaduna lawmaker responded after he published the article.

Shehu Sani questioned whether any of the funds shared were loans.
